I could try to find one, but it was in my highschool history book, and my teacher confirmed it. Most people then though that the anglo-saxon race was superior. Which is rediculous.

You do realize that if you assume racism negates someone's historical importance or the validity of their contribution to the world as a whole, then you're more-or-less relegating everything humanity has accomplished before...let's say...the 1500s to the metaphorical ash heap.

Most everyone in the far past had some sort of societal racism in their outlook. It was a part of existing in a world with circumstantially limited cross-cultural interaction that very few people managed to get past. Christ, in ancient China (that is, pre-1800s China) the word for foreigner and the word for Demon were the same. Racism was part of their culture, to the point of xenophobia, and they surpassed western civilization in many ways scientifically.

Assuming that, because a thing was developed by a person with a certain ideal, that thing possess in it an aspect of that ideal is a tremendously flawed leap of logic.

We can trust your teacher as a source.
You were obviously given a vastly superior highschool education.
